I love this picture because it is so much different than everyone else’s choices. It shows an Arab woman who is truly proud of herself and her culture. The debates that we were having in class about whether or not they feel suppressed seem futile. There is no way we could know how they feel. This picture, however, can show us how at least one woman feels. Good Choice!

I am grad that you visited my brog. I can enjoy watching a movie at the theater because of the size of the screen and the volume of the sound. That’s really simple. The movie theater is still one option to go out.

Thanks for the comment. I’m glad to see that people agree stereotypes aren’t necessarily a bad thing. In regards to movie theaters becoming obsolete, I agree with you that it will never happen. People of all ages need a reason to leave the house and the movie theatre is a perfect medium. Movies were said to become the replacement of Theater and that tradition is still alive and well. People like to hype things up and they are usually wrong.

Thank you for your comment. When I watched the movie first time, I was in Japan. Experience and getting old make me think about everyting differentlt. It is really interesting. It is like a life itself.

Thank you for your comment. Did you go to a drive-in theater in Reno? I did not go to there but I want to go. Drive-in theater is an old good culture, so the theater should be kept in the future.

I like your analysis of this movie. I think it is very interesting how you described that your interpretation of it changed as you got older. For example you mentioned when you were a child you didn’t know who Michael Jackson was but once you were older this became very interesting to you. I think it is interesting how we can have such different perspectives on things when we know more information.

I think you’re right. Radio, the web, and TV is a better place to advertise because I think people use these sources of information more. I think the ads would be seen more and therefore more effective. Plus, I think we only have one drive-in theater in Reno. So if someone paid a lot to have an ad here, not very many people would see it. On the web or TV, you are guaranteed to have more viewers.

Thank you for your comment. I really agree with your opinion. I always hind something new when I watched the movie. For example, Tanne already had the sports annual book before we realized that he should have it. This movie was really interesting and detailed.

very interesting look at the movie. i too love these movies and i always find something new to look at within them. it will be interesting to actually watch this film in the year 2015!
